Restoration bricklayer • Theni, State of Tamil Nadu

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Theni, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings We are looking for NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage; able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks.
