Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day to day you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone.
