Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Pithoragarh, State of Uttarakhand. You should bring comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus; good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching. The role involves trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance.
