Foundry labourer wanted in Mandya

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Mandya, State of Karnataka. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Ideally you have knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding; comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal. Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
