We are recruiting: bar bender and fixer (State of Chhattisgarh)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Mohla Manpur Ambagarh Chouki, State of Chhattisgarh. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
