You will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. You should bring knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance; good depth perception and hand-eye coordination. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
