What we are looking for: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
