On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Overtime paid at a premium rate.
