Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. The job is in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Ideally you have able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry; 2+ years experience working as a butcher; able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler.
