You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Your main tasks: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Six days a week, one day off.
