Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Kathua, State of Jammu and Kashmir. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should bring able to read isometric and fabrication drawings; able to pass a practical weld test on the first day; comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances. ₹23,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
