Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Bagalkot, State of Karnataka. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideally you have sound knowledge of rigging and slinging; physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts. The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
