You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
