Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites You will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points.
