Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Pay around ₹17,000 per month, based on your experience.
