Foundry operative — Ghazipur

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 1+ years on the tools preferred.
