You should bring awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures; able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently; willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster. Day to day you will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; check for underground cables and services before digging; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines.
