Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Sirmaur, State of Himachal Pradesh. You will work at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Your main tasks: • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Insulate and ventilate the roof void You should bring strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day; a driving licence is an advantage for site travel.
