Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Puducherry, Union Territory of Puducherry. The role involves check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Ideally you have comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment; able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine; sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings.
