Press shop operator — Udupi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Udupi, State of Karnataka. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. We are looking for familiar with die setting and quick tool changes; can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
