Sample machinist • Bilaspur, State of Chhattisgarh

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Bilaspur, State of Chhattisgarh. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Ideally you have good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching; 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory; knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance. Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
