Requirements: • Clean police verification with no criminal record • Basic reading of English and local language for registers Day-to-day duties: • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates • Log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register • Write up incident reports after any disturbance • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
