Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Champawat, State of Uttarakhand. We are looking for own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools; NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage. The role involves building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer ₹1,100 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
