Foundry worker • Central Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Central Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. We are looking for basic grinding and fettling skills; understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling. The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
