You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
