Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. You will work at a plant hire yard. Ideally you have good depth perception and hand-eye coordination; understanding of safe digging near underground services. The role involves level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around ₹48,000 per project, based on your experience.
