Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Murshidabad, West Bengal. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. You should bring ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage; comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces; able to pass a weld test on the spot. Six days a week, one day off.
