Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Kapurthala, State of Punjab. The job is in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Ideally you have able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets; comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
