Ideally you have able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear; physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles. Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
