Restaurant steward — East Jaintia Hills

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restaurant steward in East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based in a coffee shop. On the job you will handle: • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Clear and reset tables between covers Requirements: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
