Garment machinist — South Goa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in South Goa, Goa. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 6+ years on the tools preferred.
