Core maker — Kheri

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideally you have willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts; basic grinding and fettling skills; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor. Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
