Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Jorhat, Assam. On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Full-time, day shift.
