Urgent requirement: we are hiring a catering cook in Jammu, State of Jammu and Kashmir. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideally you have good teamwork and clear communication under pressure; willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays; able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies. Day-to-day duties: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
