Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Tiruvannamalai, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is on a high-rise building site. On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 1+ years on the tools preferred.
