Crane rigger — Sri Sathya Sai

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Sri Sathya Sai, State of Andhra Pradesh. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You should bring able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear; sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness. Your main tasks: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
