Flatlock machine operator — Purba Medinipur

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Ideally you have 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory; comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
