Brick mason — North 24 Parganas

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Ideally you have sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish); physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day; CSCS card or willingness to obtain one. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Six days a week, one day off.
