On a typical shift you will test polarity, insulation resistance and earth loop impedance; install a dedicated circuit with rcbo protection and correct cable sizing; install and terminate armoured cable through ducting or trenching; mount and level the wallbox on a wall or freestanding pedestal; run new swa or t&e cable from the consumer unit to the charge point. Ideal candidate: • Ozev/grant scheme installer approval or willingness to obtain it • Flexible to travel between jobs across the region • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and on ladders 5+ years on the tools preferred.
