Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
