Production welder — West Khasi Hills

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. You should bring 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding; able to grind, fit-up and tack independently; willing to work shifts and overtime. You will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
