Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kollam, State of Kerala. The job is on a new-build development. Day to day you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Ideally you have CSCS card or willingness to obtain one; NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage; physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
