Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Gandhinagar, State of Gujarat. On the job you will handle: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use You should bring physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles; able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear.
