Day to day you will stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; degrease and clean metal parts before coating. Ideally you have can read film thickness gauges and colour codes; keen eye for finish quality and surface defects; 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting. Rotating shifts.
