The role involves top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. You should bring willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota; good head for heights for pit and car-top work; physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces.
