Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ratnagiri, State of Maharashtra. Day to day you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. We are looking for willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
