Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. The role involves: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground Ideally you have awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice; full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment; able to read basic scaffold drawings. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
