You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day to day you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board.
