Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Jalandhar, State of Punjab. Ideally you have physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling; sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing; willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates. The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
