Rebar installer wanted in Aizawl

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Aizawl, Mizoram. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. We are looking for sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing; own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level. On the job you will handle: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
